About Us
Millennium was founded in 1999 by health care professionals who had seen first hand the difficulty experienced by elderly people and their families in finding the right aged care accommodation.
The process was not only frustrating for the clients and their families, but also for the hospitals and the aged care facilities:
- The elderly and their families were stressed and confused by the lack of education, support and direction available;
- Hospital staff and administrators were frustrated at beds being “blocked” by patients awaiting placement, resulting in increased pressure on families to move quickly; and
- Facility operators were faced with inappropriate placements, ineffective communication between acute services and aged services and the need to fill beds promptly.
Today, Millennium is a leading placement service and is highly regarded in the sector for providing a caring and compassionate service that consistently achieves successful outcomes for our clients and their families.
